The Walk, the
Platform and the Field, 1985. Victor Sloan has based this
series on the annual 12th July celebrations. The Orangemen march
(they walk) to the field, where they congregate to listen to the
speeches from the platform, usually a lorry placed in the field.
These images are
mostly black and white (35mm Kodak Tri-X), with a few small
additions made with red or blue gouache paint.
