Drumming, 1986.
This is a series of photographs taken in County Armagh during the
Orange Order’s annual 12th July marches. These celebrate the
‘Battle of the Boyne’ in 1690, when the Protestant King, William

This year there was
heightened tension caused by the Anglo Irish Agreement, which
large sections of the Protestant population regarded with
suspicion, and ran an ‘Ulster Says No’ campaign.
